Do I need to wear a face covering or face mask when visiting?

Yes.

It is law for face coverings or face masks to be worn when visiting our Dealership. Please bring your own face covering or face mask when you can, but should you find yourself without a face covering or face mask, we've often got disposable masks available.

Try to avoid touching your face covering or face mask whilst wearing it, but if you do, we have sanitising dispensers for your use within the dealership.



Our extra precautions within the dealership include:

  • Barriers installed within the dealerships to protect customers and staff
  • Face coverings or masks will be worn by our employees when they are dealing with customers
  • A one-way system has been adopted within the business
  • Plexiglass screens to protect customers and staff are in place
  • Santiser is available
  • Vehicles are locked to reduce contact

Is your Sales Department open?

The Sales Department remains open but only for on line / remote transactions.

In line with instructions from the UK Government, from 00:01 on Tuesday 5th January, our showroom and forecourt will be closed to the general public until further notice.

Yes! Our Aftersales Department remains fully operational to ensure your vehicle is road worthy for essential journeys. We continue to offer vehicle servicing, warranty, mechanical repairs, and MOT testing and we have taken every precaution to ensure the safest possible environment.

I am coming to the end of my Motability lease.

What should I do?

We would recommend customers begin their search for their next car and place an order in the last three months of their lease. We do however understand that with differing levels of COVID-19 restrictions across the UK, this continues to be an uncertain time for some customers. For your peace of mind, and to ensure we continue to offer worry-free motoring, if you haven’t placed a new order, or you don’t return your car on the date your lease is due to end, your lease will automatically be extended for six months. There will be no need to contact Motability direct; and you will continue to be insured.

Am I able to place an application for a Motability Scheme car?

Yes, we can accept new applications for the Motability Scheme and we are able to manage your application remotely.

Will my warranty be affected if I don't have my service carried out on time due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak?

Having your vehicle serviced in-line with the manufacturer's schedule is very important to keep it running well and each manufacturer is continually reviewing this in line with government guidance.

If you are unable to have your vehicle serviced, or are concerned about visiting us, we recommend contacting our Aftersales Department who will be able to offer guidance on what this would mean for your warranty and discuss ways we may be able to assist.

MOT Extension

Lockdown One Only

The Government have advised that your car or van's MOT expiry date will be extended by 6 months if it’s due between 30 March 2020 and 31 July 2020.This permits you to drive your vehicle 'legally' for a further 6 months. However, all vehicles must be kept in a roadworthy condition and drivers can be prosecuted if they drive an unsafe vehicle. Your MOT certificate will not be extended if your vehicle’s MOT expires on or after 1 August 2020. You must book an MOT as usual.

What should I do?

If your MOT is due to expire you will need to make every effort to MOT the vehicle as soon as possible or alternatively register the vehicle as SORN.
